Something Happened

                                                            “Something Happened”
                                                                   “What Things?”
                                                                   (Luke 24:13:32

Did God raise Jesus from the dead? Are you certain or are you merely going through the motion because it seems lie the right thing to do.  How do you tell the story of the Living Saviour Jesus the Christ? Are you convinced enough to convince others that they too must believe and be Born Again?

And, behold, two of them went that same day to a village called Emmaus, which was from Jerusalem about threescore furlongs.(14) And they talked together of all these things which had happened.(15) And it came to pass, that, while they communed together and reasoned, Jesus himself drew near, and went with them.(16) But their eyes were holden that they should not know him.(17) And he said unto them, What manner of communications are these that ye have one to another, as ye walk, and are sad?(18) And the one of them, whose name was Cleopas, answering said unto him, Art thou only a stranger in Jerusalem, and hast not known the things which are come to pass there in these days?(19) And he said unto them, What things? 1.    How will you tell the Story?
     a.    Do you believe what you are saying?
     b.    Are you sad?
2.      Do you have all of the facts?
    a.    What do you know about the Word?
    b.    Jesus began at the beginning v27a
    c.    Jesus told them about Himself
    d.    What do you know about Jesus?
3.      Your heart must be settle on the truth and facts
       a. Do you believe the truth? v25
       b. Jesus called them fools and slow to
            believe
       c.    It must be an inward conversion Romans 10:9-10
       d.  . God will judge our hearts (Heb 4:12
4.      True knowledge of Jesus will give us life and inward hope 
      a.    Did not our heart burn within us?
         (1)  Is your heart burning for Jesus?
         (2)  Has the truth set you free?
         (3) Are you living the abundant life?
         (4) Have you made Jesus your life?
5.      What are you going to do from now on?
       a. are you going to make some corrections
       b. Will you go and tell the story?
       c. How many souls will be converted?
           because you took the step toward God?
Close:  Go and tell the story and make disciples, the Kingdom is near.
