· To is to equip mature men and women for effective leadership for ministry by providing them with formal education straining programs that place an emphasis on strong theological curriculum as well practical ministry application
· Course Description: A thorough study of the Doctrine of the Holy Spirit and to build and strengthen a foundation on the knowledge of the Holy Spirit and His work in the church
· Course Goals and Objectives:
· To understand the Doctrine of the Holy Spirit
· Explain the Bible History as it relates to a character of the Holy Spirit
· Explore the ministry of the Holy Spirit
· Understand pneumatology (the biblical doctrine of the person and ministry of the Holy Spirit.
· The objectives will be accomplished through lectures, reading, re-action papers, pop quizzes, midterm and final examinations.
· Attendance is essential and two extra assignments per absence are required upon return from absence to clear missed class time. Lack of compliance without professor’s approval lowers final grade at the professor’s discretion.

· May 2, 2011 – Nature and Role of the Holy Spirit
· May 9, 2011 – Baptism with the Holy Spirit
· May 16, 2011 - Be filled with the Holy Spirit
· May 23, 2011 – The work of the Holy Spirit
· May 30, 2011 – Symbols of the Holy Spirit/Mid Terms
· June 6, 2011 – The Holy Spirit in the book of Acts
· June 13, 2011 – The fruits of the Holy Spirit
· June 21, 2011 – Weapons of our warfare
· June 28, 2011 – Speaking in Tongues / Future
· Final Grades
Reading, Writing, and Oral Reports:
1. All papers are expected on time-no later than the beginning of class on the day due.
2. Late papers and projects will forfeit one grade point. No credit will be given after two class periods. This is true for any reason for absence, excused and unexcused absences.
3. Grade Point System ( see LBBC’s catalog)Evaluations: Students and Professor evaluation forms will be distributed at the last class period and given to President Garon Harden. Names are optional on forms.
